When I Grow Up...

A bedtime conversation with my 4-year-old Miranda...You can be anything you want to be!
Mom: "You take good care of your baby, maybe you can be a doctor for children when you grow up."
Miranda: "Ya, I was thinking that. Or... maybe a butterfly."

The next day... Hoping to continue our sweet conversation
Mom: "So Miranda, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Miranda: "Five."

  1. The dialogue between you and your daughter is just too cute. I enjoy the fact that children really know how to use their imaginations. Whether she realizes it or not she will one day develop into that beautiful butterfly. She will one day spread her beautiful wings and fly.

On another note I am very impressed with your blog site. This can’t be your first.

  2. I'm laughing out loud! It is absolutely my first and I am embarrassed at how many hours I've been on here to get it this far. Thanks for noticing. :)

  3. The conversation between you and your daughter was precious. Children have no worries of the world and only live for the moment. Being in that mode is great place to be.
